2004 Visiting Giac Sanh Temple -- in Vietnam (Your daughter – Mai Huynh)

We left Vietnam in December 1991… In November 2004, I had a chance to visit my home again.  I visited the Giac Sanh Temple where we sent our mother’s ashes in the cremation urn in 1987.

This is our mother’s ashes in the cremation urn in 1987:

Talk to my loving Mother

You had to face the difficult time, and when the good time came, you weren’t here with us.

Believe in our religion, you fulfilled your fate and paid off your debts.  You are now in heaven with our Bible and Our God!

To my brilliant mother

My mom’s love specially has been lengthened our spirit. How extremely she loved her husband, children and grand children. Under her care, we have grown up and figured out the meaning of true-loved mother: She could share all her life for us without thinking of herself. She was a simple woman but the ways she raised her kids were so great. We recognized the value of her time to teach us details how dealing regular basic daily life. Mom, Thanks for all you gave me, and please be happy to look at me: I am trying to do what I have learned from you.

I am so glad that I am one of your nine children. We will care and love each other the best we can, as our religion: we believe you are now an Angle in the Heaven with Our God.

I love you forever and the rest of my life Mom.

Your Daughter,

Mai Huynh

Thank you for being a wonderful Mom to me!

Dear Mom,

Thank you so very much for giving me the opportunity to be your child.  You were my wonderful mom, my great teacher, and my very special friend.  When you were gone I was still young.  I did not have to deal with a real-life yet.  You were and still are always helping me.  Without you I can't be who I am today.  Thank you for the wonderful gift of life you had given me Mom.

I have been dealing with real-life everyday and it is not always easy and smooth.  I have had an easy day or a rough day.  I wish you were still here to give me advises of what to do.  You taught me how to love and how to be a good person.  I will always be proud to be your daughter, Mom.  I will always remember you and I will treasure every moment I have had with you.  I will always miss and love you so much Mom.  Your memories will always be in my heart.  Please rest in peace until we meet again, Mom.  May Buddha bless and comfort you.

"Nam Mo Cuu Kho Cuu Nan Quan The Am Bo Tat.  Nam Mo A Di Da Phat."
Praise to the Buddha and to the Goddess of Compassion.

Forever love and respect.
Your youngest daughter.
